NODYN ESBONIADOL
(Nid yw’r nodyn hwn yn rhan o’r Rheoliadau)
Mae’r Rheoliadau hyn yn diwygio Rheoliadau Diogelu Iechyd (Hysbysu) (Cymru) 2010 (“Rheoliadau 2010”) sy’n gosod rhwymedigaethau ar wahanol bersonau at ddiben atal mynychder neu ledaeniad haint neu halogiad, diogelu rhagddo, ei reoli neu ddarparu ymateb iechyd y cyhoedd iddo.
Mae rheoliad 2(2) yn mewnosod “Brech y mwncïod” yn Atodlen 1 i Reoliadau 2010 at ddibenion ychwanegu hwn at y rhestr o “Clefydau a Syndromau” y mae dyletswydd ar ymarferwyr meddygol i hysbysu awdurdod lleol perthnasol amdanynt os credir bod clefyd neu syndrom o’r fath ar glaf y maent yn ei wasanaethu. Mae’r ddyletswydd hon yn estyn i hysbysu ynghylch amheuaeth o glefyd, haint neu halogiad mewn corff marw.
Mae rheoliad 2(3) yn mewnosod “Firws brech y mwncïod” yn Atodlen 2 i Reoliadau 2010 at ddibenion ychwanegu hwn at y rhestr o “Cyfryngau Achosol” y mae dyletswydd ar weithredwyr labordai diagnostig i hysbysu awdurdod lleol perthnasol amdanynt os ydynt yn darganfod cyfrwng, neu dystiolaeth o gyfrwng o’r fath, mewn sampl ddynol.
Ni chynhaliwyd asesiad effaith rheoleiddiol mewn perthynas â’r Rheoliadau hyn oherwydd bod angen eu rhoi yn eu lle ar frys i ymateb i’r achosion presennol o frech y mwncïod yn y DU.
